Xandora was started in 2010 by KaiJern Lau to solve a critical problem for security researchers: how to automatically analyse an ever-growing stream of malware samples and determine without human intervention or antivirus signatures whether a new file never seen before was suspicious or malicious. The result was Xandora, cloud-based automated threat analysis. Xandora has a management and advisory team of security veterans in Asia and North America including:

  • KaiJern Lau - Founder and CTO
      • Kaijern started Xandora through his work in malware research in the AV industry. His experience in the front lines of malware research and his deep understanding of the inner workings of both malware and Windows itself led to his development work of the Xandora platform.

Advisors:

  • TS Wong
      • TS has an extensive enterpreneurial background in infotech in the Asia-Pacific market, including over 8 years and the antivirus industry.
  • Chad Loeven
      • Chad is the VP of sales and marketing for Silicium Security, an enterprise security vendor whose main product, ECAT, provides compromise assessment of endpoints and signature-less malware detection. Chad has been involved in enterprise infosecurity in North America for over a decade. For the last six years his focus has been enterprise threat detection and analysis.
